You’ve probably heard the old adage: Wyoming is just one big neighborhood with really long streets. And here in the Oil City, we believe that’s especially true. It never fails: we celebrate together, mourn together, we come together to support each other and to love each other.
So if you ask us, it’s about time we come together for dinner.
Save the date for the 2nd annual 5150′ Feast at City Park on August 22, 2019.
The second-ever longest table feast will feature Casper’s own Grab & Go Gourmet who will be serving their most local menu to date. Cash bar available from Urban Bottle and live music from Casper’s own Zach Schommer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why are we doing this?
In case you missed it, we think Casper is worth celebrating all day, every day. And we couldn’t think of a better way to connect with our neighbors, meet some new friends, learn new things and enjoy each others company. We are also huge fans of dinner.
Who is invited?
The whole dang city. But 55,000 people won’t quite fit in City Park. So, the 5150′ Feast is a ticketed event. Tickets are first come, first served and will be available to purchase soon!
Why City Park?
The elevation at City Park sits right at an elevation of 5150′. Plus, it is right in the heart of the Oil City.
What’s for dinner?
The 2019 menu is better and more local than ever. Dinner is being catered by Grab and Go Gourmet, with a menu that includes seared ricotta, herb-stuffed chicken breast and roast pork loin in fresh herb and garlic crust; roasted Dijon potatoes and marinated/grilled zucchini; micro-greens salad with seasonal fruits, vegetables, parmesan crisps and fresh herb vinaigrette; and red wine braised late summer fruits with sweet biscuits and fresh cinnamon cream for dessert.
There will also be a cash bar on site provided by Urban Bottle.
Ok, I’m there. When and what time?
Thursday, August 22nd. Cocktail hour starts at 5:30 and dinner is served at 6:30.
P.S. Can I bring my kids?
Kids are 100% welcome, but each person in attendance must have a ticket.
