Parents Night Out: A Progressive Date Night

Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. Pssst… It’s THIS WEEK. And if you’re looking to do a little more for your valentine than whatever is left in the card aisle on the way home from work on Thursday and have no idea what to do, don’t panic.

We have a couple ideas for you.

Make it a special day with a not-so-average dinner. Say hello to the progressive dinner date. Why go to just one stop when you can get your very favorite thing at each of your favorite places? Mix and match the stops below to create a perfect night out in Casper spent with your favorite person.

Stop one: Happy Hour

Skull Tree Brewing
Casper’s newest brewery has ah-mazing beer and a super cozy atmosphere.

FireRock Steakhouse
If you’re looking for one of the best happy hours in town, look no further. Since this is a hot spot on Valentine’s Day, try sitting at the bar.

Two words: Wine Bar.

PS It should go without saying, but we never ever encourage drinking and driving. Make a plan and be smart, friends.

Stop Two: Appetizers

Silver Fox
Bacon knots… enough said.

The Office
The Office Bar and Grill has an impressive small plates and apps menu complete with Greek gyro eggrolls and garlic pesto fries.

Wyoming Ale Works
Take it from Kevin Farmer, a local who recently took over our Instagram: ” To put it simply, they have a great atmosphere, great food, 40 beers on tap, a great bourbon selection and… LOADED TOTS!”

Stop Three: The Main Course

Pizza, pasta, and prosciutto on everything. I’m on my way.

This is one of the coziest places for date night. If this is on your V-Day itinerary, you may want to snag a reservation…now.

Pho Saigon
Yes, Casper has a pho restaurant. And yes, it’s delicious.

Stop Four: Dessert

Rialto Soda Fountain
This is honestly one of the cutest little places in Casper and many of their recipes are from the early 1900s. In other words, they’re insanely good.
